  5. Cost and Aid: Online MPH

We understand the challenges of paying for and funding higher education goals, and we work with current and prospective students to be transparent and connect them to the assistance they need. To identify the best sources of financial support, we encourage potential and current students to review the information below.

Cost

The UW Online Master of Public Health (MPH) is a self-sustaining, fee-based* degree program offered by the UW Department of Health Systems and Population Health (HSPop).

Course fees are charged on a per-credit basis and are the same for Washington state resident students and nonresident students. In addition to course fees, students pay other required fees each quarter, including registration, technology, and U-PASS (bus and transportation) fees.

Payments are due by the third Friday of the quarter.

*As a fee-based program, rather than a state-supported, tuition-based program, the Online MPH program is not eligible for the Washington State Employee Tuition Exemption.
